Will contest as Independent if denied ticket, says Sidhu Moosewala

Infighting in the Congress in the Mansa Assembly seat is getting intense. Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who is a Congress ticket aspirant from Mansa, said: “If the Congress brass does not give me the ticket, I will contest as an Independent from Mansa.”

Addressing a public meeting, Moosewala said, “People are spreading rumours that Moosewala is shifting to Maur or Talwandi Sabo seat. I want to make it clear that this will not happen. I will only contest from Mansa.” — TNS
