Two youths fired at a wine shop employee near Sibghowal village after an altercation. Senior Superintendent of Police Rajinder Singh Sohal along with his team rushed to the spot.
Eye witnesses claimed that the employee was shot in his stomach. He was rushed to the Gurdaspur Civil Hospital from where doctors referred him to Amritsar.
Sources said the miscreants came on a motorcycle and purchased liquor. The quarrel started when the youth asked the employee to return remaining amount. “We have gone through CCTV footage and accused will be nabbed soon,” said Sohal. — TNS
