3 relatives killed as car collides with truck on mega highway

They were going to Sardarshahar after attending a pre-wedding ceremony in Ratangarh

Relatives of the accident victims gather at the hospital.

Three relatives were killed when the car they were travelling in overturned after being hit by a speeding truck on the Sardarshahar-Ratangarh Mega Highway in Rajasthan on Monday night.

The deceased have been identified as Arun Soni (50), Pankaj Soni (32), and Dimple Soni (35). Two of them were residents of Sardarshahar and one was from Sriganganagar.

They were going to Sardarshahar after attending a pre-wedding ceremony in Ratangarh.

Locals moved them to a hospital. Arun died on the spot, while Pankaj and Dimple succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

The bodies have been handed over to the family members after post-mortem. Police have registered a case.
