Retired IAS Officers appointed as Advisors to PM

New Delhi, February 21

Two former IAS Officers of 1983-batch Bhaskar Khulbe and Amarjeet Sinha were appointed Advisors to the Prime Minister on Friday. 

Their appointments in the rank and scale of Secretary to the Government of India on contact for two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, an Appointments Committee of Cabinet order said.

West Bengal cadre officer Khulbe retired last September as Secretary in PMO after a six-month extension while Sinha, from Bihar cadre, retired last December as Secretary in Rural Development Ministry.
