The annual function ‘Udaan-2025’ was celebrated at Navyug Senior Secondary School, Kurukshetra. Dr Rampal Saini, Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, was the chief guest. The chief guest and other dignitaries observed the art and craft, mathematics, science, and IT exhibitions and rangoli displays put up by students of classes IX to XII on the school premises. Students of classes VII to X set up food, decoration, and games stalls in the school, which were highly appreciated by the guests. Students from Pre-Nursery to Class VI showcased their talent by participating in various cultural programmes. School Director BD Gaba, teachers, and other dignitaries welcomed the chief guest. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. This was followed by a ‘Ganesh Vandana’ performance by students of Class VI. The little artistes of Pre-Nursery presented ‘Funky Beats’, Nursery students presented ‘Shiny Stars’, LKG students presented ‘Welcome Dance’ and ‘Dream Life’, and UKG students captivated everyone with their performances of ‘Healthy Alphabets’ and ‘Wonders of Life’. Students of Class II showcased their talent through dances on ‘School Chale Hum’, ‘Punjabi Beat’, and ‘Tollywood Tadka’. Class III students presented ‘Udaan’ and ‘Aeri Feri’ dances, and Class V students enthralled everyone with their ‘Rangilo Rajasthan’ dance. Class IV students gave a wonderful performance of the world of theatre through ‘Retro Melodies’. Class VI students displayed their strength through wrestling and yoga. The final performance was a Haryanvi dance, which delighted everyone. The students of senior classes had organised a carnival where different stalls of eatables and games were settled. Shopping arena was the centre of attraction where visitors were seen buying key rings, cosmetics and other gift items. The school also honoured students who achieved merit in the board examinations.
