The CBSE organised a two-day Capacity Building Programme based on Inclusive Education at the school. Anuja Sharma and Harpreet Kaur were the resource persons for the training session. Around 40 teachers took active part in the workshop, group discussions and skill building activities that were held as part of the session. The main objective of the workshop was to focus on identifying and interventions in implementing inclusion of children with special needs in the classroom with the other children. The workshop also aimed to provide a platform to the teachers to express their viewpoints and follow the best practices for the benefit of the students. As part of the capacity building programme, the teachers were also provided with the understanding various disabilities along with their screening and identification. The workshop concluded on a positive note thus empowering the educators with the knowledge and skills needed to create an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, respected, and supported in their unique learning journey.
