Ashmah International School, Sector 70, Mohali, celebrated Holi with cultural fervour on its campus. The school premises came alive with vibrant hues as students and staff joined together to spread the message of unity, love and harmony. The school emphasised celebrating a "Dry Holi" to promote sustainability and water conservation. The celebration began with a colourful cultural programme presented by the students. Children performed energetic dances to Holi songs and recited poems highlighting the historical and cultural significance of the festival. A special highlight of the event was the celebration of "Phoolon Ki Holi" (Holi with Flowers), where students showered each other with flower petals to express joy and positivity. Additionally, organic and herbal gulal was used, encouraging children to celebrate a chemical-free and skin-safe Holi. Chairman AS Kesar extended his Holi greetings and said, "Holi is not just a festival of colours but a symbol of the victory of good over evil. Such celebrations instil respect for our rich heritage and cultural values among students while strengthening the spirit of unity." Principal Suchi Grover appreciated the initiative of celebrating an eco-friendly Holi and stated, "In today's time, water conservation and environmental protection are extremely important. We encouraged students to play a safe and dry Holi. The use of herbal colours not only protects our skin but also prevents environmental pollution." The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and students warmly exchanged Holi greetings by embracing one another.
