The Inter-BCM Group Folk Dance Competition, held in the school at its Mata Thakur Devi Auditorium was a remarkable celebration of cultural heritage. The event featured vibrant performances by participating schools, showcasing the rich traditions of the region and leaving the audience mesmerised. The competition began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr Prem Kumar, Manager, and DP Guleria, Principal. The event was judged by a panel of experts — Shubhjeet Kaur, kathak exponent and international performer, and Gurpreet Kaur, HoD of Dance at Master Tara Singh College. Participants competed in two categories. In the Category I, BCM School, Chandigarh Road, got the first place; and BCM School, Dugri second. In the Category II, BCM School, Chandigarh Road, got the first place; and BCM School, Basant City, second. Dhriti and Jasmeen of BCM School, Chandigarh Road, were awarded with Best Dancer Trophy for their astounding performance.
