The school embraced the festive spirit of Lohri with an event that brought joy and togetherness to all. The celebration began with a special assembly by Class VI-A, where students highlighted the significance of Lohri, its cultural roots, and its message of gratitude for nature’s bounty. The highlight of the festivities was the ceremonial lighting of the Lohri fire by Principal Inderpreet Kaur, and Vice-Principal Ramneek Kaur Malhotra, symbolising prosperity and hope. The joyous atmosphere was enhanced by the singing of ‘boliyaan’ by students, teachers, and staff. Traditional sweets like rewaris and gajak were distributed, spreading happiness among everyone. Addressing the gathering, Principal Inderpreet Kaur extended her heartfelt wishes and said, “Lohri infuses joy and festivity in all of us. Let us celebrate it in the right spirit, embracing new beginnings and looking forward to new opportunities and joys.”
