The school celebrated Republic Day. The theme for this year, “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas” (Golden India: Heritage and Development), set the tone for the vibrant two-day celebrations. The event began with the ceremonial flag hoisting, instilling a deep sense of national pride among students and staff. Dressed in Tricolour-themed accessories and attires, a variety of co-curricular activities followed, celebrating the spirit of the nation. Students showcased their creativity in an inter-class patriotic song competition, filling the air with melodious tunes that paid tribute to India’s rich heritage. Students enthusiastically participated, demonstrating their understanding of India’s history, culture, and constitutional values, making the event both enlightening and engaging. Students also participated in the “Why I am proud of India” segment, delivering stirring speeches about the nation’s achievements, democratic ideals, and contributions to global progress. The young learners showcased their talent through patriotic songs, energetic dances, and an endearing enactment of ‘Kisan Aur Jawan’, celebrating the invaluable contributions of India’s farmers and soldiers. The event concluded with an inspiring address by Principal Inderpreet Kaur, who encouraged students to uphold and maintain the legacies of our great nation. She emphasised the myriad opportunities for growth and development that begin in the school and urged students to participate wholeheartedly in every endeavour and give their best in all they do. The celebrations truly reflected the essence of unity, democracy, and national pride, making it a memorable occasion for everyone present.
