To honour the legacy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a pioneer in Indian education, National Education Day was celebrated at the school on his birth anniversary. The day is an invitation to carry on his legacy by making sure that everyone has access to, and is empowered by education. On the special day, the Literary Club (English) of the school organised a variety of events, such as word chain, spell bee, speeches and extempore for the students of classes I to VIII. The students gave speeches highlighting Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's life, his beliefs in education and his contributions to society. Principal Upasna Modgil, while applauding the performances of the students, said by commemorating National Education Day, we hope to inspire the students to make significant contributions to society and instil in them a feeling of pride
