With the aim to promote physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of the students, DAV Model School Sector -15 A, Chandigarh, once again continued in its earnest endeavours in the Annual Sports Day-2025. Students from classes Nursery to XII participated in different races with lot of vigour and enthusiasm. The event started with release of colourful balloons in the sky presenting a spectacular view by the School Vice-Chairman Principal RC Jeewan. Principal Anuja Sharma congratulated the staff and students for their persistent efforts and dedication. She motivated them to continue in their march towards excellence. As per the DAV tradition, there was a pious rendition of DAV Gaan followed by the event. Students participated in different races like bees and basket race, hopping race, rabbit with balloon race, sack race, lemon and spoon race, three legged race, crocodile race, chatti race, balance race and jump over the partner races were organised for the students. Students also showcased a PT drill, lazium and dumble performance with coordination and symmetry. The winners were awarded with certificates and mementos. Sukhdev House and Rajguru House bagged the overall trophy. The event ended the National Anthem.
