Janmashtami was celebrated on the school premises. The mothers and their little kids dressed up in the attires of lord Krishna, Radha and Yashoda. They thrilled the audience with the performance on the songs such as “Maiya Yashoda ye tera Kanhaiya..Bada natkhat hai yeh”. The programme was embellished with the mesmerising ‘bhajan’ presented by Class I and V students. Bhajan presented by the Krishna Kripa Mandal added to the serenity of the pious atmosphere. Tiny tots of LKG and Class I performed a dance depicting the love of Radha and Krishna. Many art activities like pot decoration and flute decoration were organised for tiny tots. An art workshop, “To decorate flute”, was also held for Class IX in which more than 150 students participated and prepared beautiful flutes with clay, colours and peacock feathers.
