DAV Senior Secondary School, Rupnagar, organised a religious programme dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur and his fellow martyred Gursikhs Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das and Bhai Dayala with great devotion. The programme began with Harmeet Kaur, a Class VIII student, and her fellow students singing a hymn. Students shared information about the Guru's unparalleled sacrifice and life through poems, speeches and devotional songs. Principal Sangeeta Rani encouraged students to draw inspiration from the Guru's martyrdom and rise above religious and caste distinctions to serve humanity.
