Sharp NGO in collaboration with Schneider Electric Foundation organised ‘Green Assembly’ and the first session of the ‘Conserve My Planet Programme’ at the school. The session aimed at introducing the programme to the students and creating awareness to conserve energy. The enthusiast learners, all dressed in green, took the pledge to become green ambassadors and utilise the non-renewable resources of energy efficiently. The students actively participated in the discussion on the plight of Mother Earth and various innovative ways to conserve the planet. They were explained easy steps in day-to-day life to ensure the optimal conservation of energy through a PowerPoint presentation. The students were given handouts in order to brief them about their role as green ambassador.
