Delhi Public School, Mohali, celebrated Science Week 2025, offering students a rich blend of hands-on experiments, creative learning experiences and interactive scientific demonstrations. Activities were carefully designed for classes III to VIII, allowing students to witness scientific concepts unfold through real-life applications. Throughout the week, students were engaged in a variety of age-appropriate experiments. Class III explored soluble and insoluble substances, while Class IV investigated the principles of floating and sinking through simple objects. Class V worked with indicators to understand the nature of acids and bases in the Chemistry Lab, Class VI created leaf impression art to learn about venation, while Class VII examined physical and chemical changes through everyday materials and reactions and Class VIII experienced the world of microscopy by preparing and observing cheek cell slides. A major highlight of the celebration was the Mobile Science Exhibition Bus from Pushpa Gujral Science City, which set up an immersive scientific environment on the school campus. Equipped with many interactive exhibits, the mobile exhibition allowed students to explore human anatomy, the functioning of the heart, the digestive and respiratory systems, genetics, communicable diseases and renewable energy concepts in an engaging and visually stimulating manner. Fun assessments such as BMI calculation, colour-blindness testing and nutrition-based plate-making added further excitement and relevance to the students' learning.
