I was in Class VI, everything was going well. In the month of May, 2022 my periodic test were going to be held, so I was preparing for my exams. I got good marks in every subject. I was very happy. However, I met with an accident during summer vacation in June, that had an adverse effect on my marks in midterm exams held in August. I was very nervous and scored 58 marks out of 70 in math.
It was the first time that I had scored so less. When I showed my answer-sheet to my parents, they said that they did not expect this from me and encouraged me to do more practice for next time.
As I knew that my parents love me a lot, I started my preparation for 2nd periodic test. I tried more to get a good score. But again it was not as I expected. For a while, I felt helpless but did not lose hope. I knew that not only my family but God was also always with me. Now I gave my 100%, after sometime I felt that there is a great improvement in all subjects, especially in math with the help of my parents and class teache. I was gradually becoming good at math.
When I saw my annual exam question paper, I became very confident. I can never forget that when I got my report card, I had scored 98%. This became possible not only by my hard work but because of the support of my parents and teachers. I also learnt that we should never lose hope and always be optimistic.
