Farewell party organised for Class XII students

St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, came together in an atmosphere filled with emotion and pride to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Class XII students. The programme began with a ceremonial honouring of the outgoing batch, followed by the Mr and Ms Josephite contest, which featured a dazzling ramp walk and a lively question-and-answer round. Enthusiastic participation in fun-filled games and activities further uplifted the festive spirit of the day. One of the most touching moments unfolded when students invited their mentors on stage to express heartfelt gratitude. Adding sparkle to the celebration were captivating dance and musical performances that entertained the audience. A sumptuous lunch followed, after which prestigious titles were conferred under various categories. Aryan Sharma (Science Stream) was crowned Mr Josephite 2025-26, while Adya Tandon (Humanities Stream) was named Ms Josephite 2025-26. The Student of the Year title was awarded to Avyukti Ahuja (Commerce Stream). The Beacon of Influence Award went to Anmol Kaur (Humanities Stream), who also shared the Difference-Maker Award (Mentoring Leader) with Aryan Sharma (Science Stream). The Torchbearer Award for Head Girl and Head Boy was presented to Divyanjali Thakur (Humanities Stream) and Akshat Soni (Science Stream). The Spectacular Sportsman Award (National Achievers) was won by Parth Bhatti (Science Stream) and Hitesh Kumar (Commerce Stream), while the Star Sports Award (National Players) was conferred on Prabhleen Kaur and Jaismeet Kaur. Several other students were also recognised for excellence in improvement, discipline, creativity, co-scholastic participation, attendance, integrity, volunteerism and academics. Members of the management extended their warm blessings to the outgoing students. The principal, Monica Chawla, emphasised the values of patience, perseverance, ethical conduct and hard work, urging students to avoid shortcuts and embrace innovation with sincerity.
