Global Wisdom International School, Dera Bassi, promotes environmental awareness

Students of the school took part in vibrant and meaningful activities promoting environmental awareness and sustainability throughout the day. The day kicked off with a special morning assembly introducing the theme of Earth Day 2025 “Our Power Our Planet” focusing on the global call to action for clean energy and climate protection. Later in the day, tiny tots celebrated the day in green attire showcasing their talent through musical skit and recitation of poems. Morning assemble was followed by spirited Earth Day rally. Amit Gupta, SDM, Dera Bassi, Chairman of the school Gurdip Singh Chahal, member of the management Barkha Ram, president of the Bharat Vikas Parishad Upesh Bansal and Principal of the school Dr Basundhara along with other dignitaries flagged off the rally. A sapling was planted in the school courtyard by chief guest Amit Gupta.
