A safety and security programme was conducted by NDRF team at the school under the guidance of Principal Nirmal Sharma. Topics that were covered under the programme included disaster management like earthquake, flood, fire extinguisher, stretcher making at home during emergency and heat strokes, heart failure, CPR, etc. Demonstration along with mock drill was conducted by the team with students.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
