Grandparents' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at St Kabir Public School, Karnal. On this occasion, grandparents of students from Nursery to Class III were invited as the chief guests. A grand cultural programme was organised by the school to mark the event. Students gave delightful performances that won the hearts of their grandparents. Through various songs and presentations, the children expressed their love and emotions towards their grandparents, leaving them deeply touched and overwhelmed. Several fun and entertaining games were also organised for the grandparents. They enthusiastically participated and experienced immense joy and happiness. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by school Director Nirmaljeet Chawla. On this occasion, she urged the grandparents to instil values such as kindness, compassion, love and goodwill in children from an early age so that they grow up to become responsible citizens and bring pride to their country, school and family while leading their lives in the right direction.
