The school organised a vibrant Lohri celebration by conducting numerous activities in which students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The festivities reflected the rich traditions and joy associated with the harvest festival. Students of classes IV and V showcased their creativity through a craft-making activity. The young talents prepared beautiful Lohri-themed crafts, highlighting the spirit of the festival. Under the leadership of the Punjabi department, a house-wise folk song activity was held for students of classes VI to IX. Eight students from each house participated, presenting traditional Punjabi folk songs with zeal and harmony. These melodious performances added an authentic festive vibe to the occasion. Students of Class XI expressed their artistic flair through a poster-making activity on theme ‘Lohri’ emphasising the cultural and agricultural significance of the festival. The day concluded with a joyful celebration around the bonfire, where students and staff offered traditional Lohri treats and shared the essence of togetherness and gratitude.
