Students of Class VIII at Gurukul World School, Chandigarh, organised a special assembly to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. The assembly began with a soulful ‘shabad’, followed by Japji Sahib ‘Paath’ and ‘ardaas’. Students also presented a skit on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev and held a newsroom-style panel discussion on his teachings and their relevance in today’s world. Students also spoke a few lines highlighting Guru Nanak Dev’s message of equality, love, and selfless service. Principal Poonamjit Kaur appreciated the students for their sincere efforts and active participation, commending the way they conveyed Guru Nanak Dev’s message through the assembly. She encouraged everyone to imbibe his values of truth, humility, and compassion in their daily lives.
