‘Havan’ organised for students appearing for board exams

DAV School, Ropar, organised a ‘havan’ for the students appearing for board exams. School Chairman Mohit Jain and Vice-Chairman Yogesh Mohan Pankaj were present on the occasion. Sanskrit teacher Jaipal Shastri performed the rituals. The ceremony began with the recitation of Gayatri Mantra. All members of management, teachers and students offered offerings in the ‘havan kund’. The Vice-Chairman addressed the students and encouraged them to give their best in the exams. RS Parmar, founder of the Rotary Club, Rupnagar; Sudhir Sharma, president of the club; OP Malhotra; Ankur Wahi, secretary of club; were also present. School Manager Ravinder Talwar and Principal Sangeeta Rani also wished the students.
