The Himachal government has ordered schools in the state to remain closed till September 21.

The latest order, issued by Chief Secretary Ram Subhag on Tuesday, does not apply to residential schools.

“All schools shall continue to remain closed, except residential schools further up to September 21,” the order said. “

Teaching and non-teaching staff shall continue to attend the school. For residential schools, SOPs developed by the Department of Education will be followed to contain the spread of Covid.”
