‘Khel Utsav’ celebrated at Navyug school

Navyug Senior Secondary School, Mohan Nagar, Kurukshetra, celebrated ‘Khel Utsav’ for students of Nursery to Class III with enthusiasm. The festival was inaugurated by the Director, Principal and Headmistress, who released saffron, white and green balloons into the sky. Boys and girls participated with equal zeal in a range of events, including simple race, lemon race, balancing race, back race, skipping race, jump race, coin race, crawling race and rabbit race. Students securing first, second and third positions were honoured with certificates and medals by the director, BD Gaba, principal Devendra Arora and headmistress Preeti Mishra. A tug of war was organised at the end of the event for added enjoyment. The competitions were conducted under the supervision of DPE Jasmer Singh. Addressing the students, principal Dr Devendra Arora highlighted the importance of physical activities, stating that a healthy mind develops from a healthy body and encouraging all students to participate actively in such events. The school manager, Vikas Gaba, members of the teaching staff and other staff members were present on the occasion.
