A Meritorious Award Ceremony was organised at War Heroes Memorial School, Basdhara, where school Director Prem Prakash, Principal Neetu Mokal, and Vice-Principal Mamta Turan honoured the students who achieved outstanding marks during the academic session 2024-2025. In Class X, 22 students out of 40 got these awards. Lakshay, who achieved 97.8%, got the cash prize of Rs 11,000. In Class XII, 25 students out of 48 achieved outstanding awards. Jenish, district topper, was awarded cash prize and trophy. During the ceremony, students were awarded several cash prizes, certificates as well as trophy as encouragement.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
