Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur, celebrated its 10th Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, as part of the Founders' Week festivities. The celebration began with a grand opening ceremony marked by the hoisting of the school flag and the lighting of the sports torch, symbolising unity and pride. The Founder and Director, Dr Annie Charles Samuel and Dr Earnest Charles J Samuel, graced the occasion and inspired the students with their motivating address, lauding the school's ten glorious years and the role of sports in shaping character, resilience and leadership. Director Manu Garg also graced the event with her presence, joining the celebrations in this special milestone. Students representing their Houses competed in various track and field events, relays and fun races. The march past, drills and other coordinated performances captivated the audience, displaying discipline, precision and team spirit. The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where winners were awarded medals and trophies for their achievements. Principal Rashmi Ivy Rafi, in her address, appreciated the efforts of students, teachers and the sports department for making the event a success.
