Akal Academy, Balbehra, organised a grand ‘nagar kirtan’ with the divine presence of Guru Granth Sahib and Panj Pyaaras. The religious procession commenced with a soulful ‘ardaas’ to seek blessings for its successful completion, featuring the participation of Principal Meera Verma, staff, sewadars, and approximately 450 students traveling in a fleet of 14 buses, cars, and tractors. As the procession moved through the villages of Kamheri, Boupur, Alipur Jattan, Alipur Theh, Nagawan, and Balbehra, the local sangat paid heartfelt homage to Guru Granth Sahib and provided ‘sewa’ in the form of tea, fruits, and water. There was a short stay at Gurdwara Sant Darbar Sahib, Balbehra, where ‘langar’ was served to all participants by Baba Lakhwinder Singh and other sewadars. The event concluded at Gurdawara Khichri Sahib where tea and fritters were served by them.
