National Science Day celebrated

St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, celebrated National Science Day to mark the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by eminent scientist CV Raman, by organising a special assembly. The assembly commenced with the school prayer, followed by a thought-provoking speech highlighting the significance of science in daily life. Students presented interesting facts and performed experiments to demonstrate how science is an indispensable part of everyday living. Teachers urged students to ask questions, explore new ideas and develop a scientific temperament.
