PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saloh, organised an educational exposure visit for 240 students of classes III to V under the guidance of Principal Neelam Guleria and Headmaster Maninder Katoch. During the visit, students explored fruit farms at Baul Uparli, Kathoh and Balah Kholi, where they observed the cultivation of pomegranate, guava and dragon fruit. These farms have been developed under the HP SHIVA Scheme, which focuses on promoting horticulture and enhancing farmers' income in Himachal Pradesh. The farms, owned by Yograj Bhardwaj and Roshan Lal, provided an enriching learning experience for students. The owners interacted with the students and explained modern farming techniques, crop management practices and the significance of fruit cultivation. The visit was supported by agriculture officers, including HDO Bangana Varinder, HEO Anupam Sharma and Mohammad Arshad, who offered valuable insights into horticulture practices and various government schemes.
