Pollution Prevention Day is any practice that reduces, eliminate or prevent pollution at its source. Reducing the amount of pollution produced means less waste to control, treat or dispose of. Students of Maharishi Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya Sector 22, Chandigarh, took part in different activities. They participated in Slogan writing and declamation activity. Students spread awareness to the society through rally.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
