RDians are chess champs

Students of RD Khosla School, Amritsar, delivered an impressive performance at a recent district-level chess tournament, bringing laurels to the school through their remarkable achievements across various age categories. In the U-17 category, Palak displayed exceptional skill and strategic brilliance to secure a gold medal. In the U-14 category, Ajay, Rudra, Arush and Myra Rishi secured the third position with commendable performances. Namish and Maulik secured the fourth position in the U-17 team event, while Haransh Veer Singh and Nimratpal Singh achieved fourth position in the U-13 category. Harshit also secured the fourth position in the U-14 category. Further adding to the school's achievements, Naksh, Bakshjot and Rajveer secured the fifth position and showcased remarkable talent and determination during the tournament. Chairman Arvind Khosla, President Ajay Khosla and Principal Dr Bindu Bhalla congratulated the winning students, their parents and teacher Shrestha Sharma for the commendable achievement. They emphasised that sports and co-curricular activities play a vital role in the overall development of students and help nurture confidence, discipline and teamwork.
