St Teresa Convent School, Panchkula

As part of the campaign for Swachh Bharat, the school observed ‘Clean India Program’ to create awareness among students about cleanliness. Students, teachers along with the administrative staffs of the school conducted the cleanliness drive near the Ghaggar. Students showed an extraordinary level of zeal and enthusiasm. They not only resolved to clean the school but also pledged to restore the greenery and beauty of the environment. Principal Ruby Sharma said Teresians have responded whole-heartedly in promoting the values of cleanliness, health, hygiene, respect and responsibility.

Mukand Lal Public School, Yamuna Nagar

On the first death anniversary of Sethani Shyamaji, the school paid a tribute to the pious soul by arranging a special assembly. Director Shashi Bathla, Principal Mamta Verma and senior teachers lighted the sacred lamp. Sudha Anand and Gurpreet Kaur threw light on the valuable life of Sethani Shyamaji. Divyanshu, a student Class VIII made the soul alive in the hearts of the present audience. Classes VI-VIII cherished her memory through a play showing all phases of her life since childhood. Adopted students and those who come under 134-A were given sweaters on the occasion. The Principal expressed her desire to follow the footprints of the serene, contemplated and dedicated soul who is motivation behind the spread of branches of knowledge.

St Joseph's Sr Sec School, Chandigarh

The Fourth International E-Waste Day was observed by the Middle Block. To create awareness and sensitise students, activities such as paper reading, group discussions and making best out of e-waste were conducted on the virtual platform. The paper reading activity helped to throw light on all relevant facts on what e-waste constitutes and the ways to dispose them off. Students availed the opportunity to quiz each other and answer queries in the group discussions.

DAV Senior Public School, Surajpur

Students participated in cultural programmes organised on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Anand Swami. Students of classes VI to VIII paid reverence to the eminent personality through beautiful hymns, bhajans, presentation and lectures. Principal Dr Mamta Goel said Mahatma Anand Swami will always be remembered as an icon of Arya Samaj and his efforts towards the uplift of society would always be a source of inspiration. 

Sri Sukhmani International School, Dera Bassi

Dasehra was celebrated with fervour. Various activities, including story recitation, were performed. Students were encouraged to say few lines through video making to glorify the occasion. To mark Lord Rama's victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always prevails over evil, students of pre-Nursery till Class IV were dressed up in one of the characters of Ramayana and celebrated Dasehra virtually. Director Kanwaljeet Kaur and Principal Poonam Sharma blessed the students while inspiring them to follow the path of truth.

Amity International School, Mohali

Students of the Kindergarten block celebrated World Food Day in a creative manner. They dressed up in colourful attires, prepared and presented a dish from that particular region. Little ones tastefully decorated their dishes with attractive designs and patterns. Students were motivated not to waste food.

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh

A ‘Let’s Choose Health Activity' was conducted for Nursery children. The activity reinforced the importance and benefits of making healthy eating choices a regular part of kids lives. Children were explained about the importance of eating healthy food.
