RK International School, Nabahi, organised its annual function “Swaranjali” showcasing a vibrant blend of patriotism, cultural diversity, and national unity. Based on the theme “We all are Indians”, the programme conveyed a strong message of social harmony and national integration through students’ creative performances. The chief guest was Rakesh Parashar, Superintending Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, Shimla, while Prashant Thakur, SHO, Bhoranj, Hamirpur, was the guest of honour. The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati, followed by a warm welcome extended by the school management to the guests, parents, and students. A special welcome dance presented by dance teacher Pankaj Verma, depicting the powerful form of Goddess Kali, impressed the audience and set a spiritual tone for the programme. Students from classes VI to XII presented a series of cultural performances, including folk dances, devotional and patriotic songs, a costume show, and the short play “Too Dear”. A presentation based on national unity highlighting the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” was a major attraction, delivering the message that despite linguistic diversity, Indians share one identity. The school honoured students for their outstanding academic achievements. Prizes were awarded to students who secured top positions in their respective classes and those who achieved distinctions at the national level. School Chairman Ramesh Kumar Sharma and Principal SK Sharma expressed their gratitude to the parents for their overwhelming support, stating that parents’ trust and cooperation are the backbone of the institution.
