The school celebrated Republic Day, organising a series of vibrant activities and competitions across various levels. The event aimed at instilling patriotism, honour the legacy of India’s freedom fighters and urge the citizens to contribute in the progress of the country. ASI Rakesh Sharma, in-charge, PCR, Ludhiana, was the guest of honour. He unfurled the Indian Tricolour, followed by singing of the national anthem. Ryanites saluted the flag with pride and accorded guard of honour. The highlight was a nukkad natak, through which students emphasised the importance of fulfilling duties in a democratic and secular India. Students of Class IX, participated in a poster-making competition where themes like “India’s Freedom Struggle: Netaji’s Contribution” and “My Vision of a Strong and United India: Inspired by Netaji” showcased students’ creativity and respect for the nation. Classes VI-VIII participated in a patriotic singing competition, while students of classes I to V exhibited their talent in singing and dance performances. Principal Manasi Thapar said , “Dear students, on this Republic Day, let us celebrate our democratic values, honour our nation’s heroes, and pledge to uphold unity, equality, and responsibility for a brighter future. As students, you should contribute to your level best. Remember, every small effort is counted, so put in your sincere efforts in all that you do.
