Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School, Khanna

The school organised the inaugural ceremony of the Annual Athletic Meet 2024-25. Chief guest Amritpal Singh Bhatti, DSP, Khanna, was accorded a Guard of Honour by the Student’s Council, NCC cadets and school band team. An open Jeep salute was accorded to the chief guest with an array of bikers leading the grand welcome. The ceremonial torch was lit for inculcating sportsmanship, leadership, unity along with competitive spirit among the students. A prayer dance, welcome song and cultural dance adorned the event with a riot of hues and vibrancy enthralling the spectators. Students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events. The athletes enthusiastically competed with each other in various events such as races, fun games, shot put, long jump, high jump, etc. The chief guest gave away prizes to the winners and applauded their sportsman spirit. Director Rev Fr Amal Varghese and Principal Rev Sr Lincy Xavier presented a token of love and gratitude to the chief guest.
