Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, kids take part in fire safety drill

A fire safety awareness workshop was conducted at the school under the joint initiative of the Disaster Management Committee and the NSS wing of the school. Students of classes X, XI, and XII participated in the hands-on session. Resource person Devendra Sehawal from the Chandigarh Fire Department shared valuable insights on the importance of fire safety and preparedness in everyday life. A live fire extinguishing drill was also conducted, where students observed and learnt the correct techniques to operate different types of extinguishers. The demonstration served as a crucial lesson in emergency response and helped instil confidence among students to act responsibly in crisis situations. Principal Anisha Ghuman appreciated the efforts of the school Disaster Management Committee and NSS wing for organising such a meaningful and practical session.
