Sant Baba Bhag Singh International School, Khiala, celebrated its Annual Sports Day for the session 2025–26 3. The chief guests were Sant Baba Janak Singh and Sant Baba Manmohan Singh. The programme commenced with an impressive NCC march past, followed by a soulful ‘shabad and’ flag hoisting. After a warm welcome to the dignitaries, the chief guests formally declared the sports events open. Younger students from Nursery to Grade II delighted everyone with fun activities such as ball balancing, flat race, frog race, throwing ball, duck race, three-legged race, and more, sparking peals of laughter across the field. Students from grades III to V infused the playgrounds with joy and energy through spoon race, 30-metre race, balloon race, sack race, ball-bucket game, and medicine-ball throw, filling the air with cheers. Participants from grades VI–VIII showcased remarkable speed and stamina in 100m, 200m and 400m races, alongside thrilling tug-of-war and other track events. Senior students exemplified sportsmanship and team spirit in javelin throw and inter-house matches, including volleyball, football, and basketball for both boys and girls. The day concluded with the rendition of the national anthem, followed by Principal Ranjeet Singh’s heartfelt vote of thanks. He congratulated the winners, inspired all participants to embrace sports for holistic physical, mental, and personal growth, and oversaw the distribution of around 400 medals by the chief guests and other dignitaries to appreciate the winners’ spirit.
