The school celebrated Republic Day on its premises. The programme started with the unfurling of the national flag. Chief guest Vijay Sharma, Deputy Director, DPI (SE), Punjab, school Chairman Ravi Dutt Sharma and Director Dr Ruby Sharma unfurled the national flag and the national anthem was played. As the national flag soared high the entire school sang the national anthem. Students of the school did march past and presented cultural items, including patriotic song, folk dance and speeches. The chief guest addressed the gathering by giving a beautiful message saying that “a person can surely reach to the top of success no matter he belongs to a small village or a big city. The only thing matters is hard work”. He gave many examples from his own life experiences. Director Dr Ruby Sharma inaugurated a new “Jai Hind” campaign to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in students.
