An awareness session on ‘Positive mental health and gender & cultural sensitivity’ was conducted at Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula, for students of classes VIII, IX, and XI, along with teachers. The session aimed to promote emotional well-being, inclusivity, and mutual respect within the school community. The session was led by Dr Ramneek Sharma (Chairman, Mental Wellness and Care), Dr Col Raj Sharma, Dr Geeteshwar Dewan (neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist) and Dr Aarzoo Chawla (child psychiatrist). The experts highlighted emotional resilience, stress management, adolescent mental health challenges, and the importance of gender and cultural sensitivity.
