Continuing their tradition of excellence in academics, the school boasts of yet another impressive milestone of a 100 per cent pass percentage. Anushka Gupta proved to be the best performing candidate by obtaining an impressive 98.8 per cent, and she scored 100 per cent marks in mathematics. Out of 71 students, 30 of them managed to score 90 per cent and above, whereas 46 of them crossed the cut-off mark of 85 per cent. Harshveer Singh, who was a basketball player at the district level, scored 97 per cent, while Rajveer Singh obtained 85.8 per cent. The two Taekwondo players at the district level, Shaina Gupta and Inayat, secured scores of 92.8 per cent and 90.2 per cent, respectively.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
