The school organised an interactive workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) System to train teachers in handling cardiac emergencies such as cardiac arrest and heart attacks. The workshop was conducted by a team of expert doctors from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, and aimed at empowering educators with life-saving skills. Key Highlights of the workshop was hands-on training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), techniques for relief of choking, identification of symptoms of cardiac arrest and heart attack and guidelines on immediate response protocols and seeking medical assistance. Principal Parneet Sohal said the workshop was a crucial step in ensuring that “our teachers are well-prepared to respond effectively in medical emergencies”. Karan Bajwa, Managing Director, remarked that ‘equipping our educators with life-saving skills is a priority for us”. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, where teachers clarified doubts and gained deeper insights into emergency response protocols.
