Shemrock World, Ropar, celebrated Gurpurb, commemorating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism and a beacon of divine wisdom. The celebration commenced with a soulful ‘shabad’ rendered by students, filling the atmosphere with serenity and reverence. Inspiring speeches were delivered by Bhupinder Kaur, faculty member, and Gursirat Kaur, student of Class VIII-S, who eloquently highlighted the life, teachings, and spiritual legacy of Guru Nanak Dev. Teachers recited Japji Sahib, adding a touch of sanctity to the occasion. The entire school community adorned traditional Punjabi attire, reflecting the cultural richness and unity of the celebration. The event truly embodied Guru Nanak Dev’s message of peace, equality, and universal brotherhood.
