St. Anne's Convent School, Chandigarh, is spreading warmth and contributing smiles by reaching out to the needy and lonely people, cherishing the spirit of Christmas as a festival of community service and compassion. To instil generosity and light the lives of the less fortunate, Principal Sr Siji, Vice Principal Sr Regina, teachers and students gifted essential commodities to people in and around Chandigarh, visiting places like Burail village, Dhanas and Mother Teresa Home. The students were happy seeing the bright smiles and spark in the recipients' eyes. One eighth-class student shared, "I felt so satisfied presenting the gifts. The spark in their eyes was indescribable." A Class IX student said, "I am happy at least we could do something for them who are alone and suffering endlessly." According to Principal Sr Siji, "This service to mankind will help build a foundation in the young minds that their act, no matter how small, can make a real difference."
