St Mary’s School organises singing competition

St Mary’s School, Phase XI, Mohali, organised the HG Job Mar Philoxenos Memorial Inter-School Singing Competition in honour of Late HG Job Mar Philoxenos, a revered figure of compassion and wisdom. The event began with an invocation and lamp lighting ceremony, attended by Rev Father Aji K Chacko, Principal Bijumon Thomas, and Neha Kashyap, Principal of St Mary’s School, Chandigarh. Six schools participated, delivering performances centred around the theme, “Allegiance towards our country”. The competition was judged by Rajinder, Ekansh, and Praveen. The winners were Yadvindra Public School, Mohali (1st prize, Rs 5,000), St Mary’s School, Chandigarh (2nd prize, Rs 3,000), and Moti Ram Arya School, Sector 27 (3rd prize, Rs 2,000). The event concluded on a harmonious note, celebrating both musical talent and patriotic spirit.
