The school celebrated Republic Day. The event commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by Principal Dr Piyush Punj, joined by special guest Harnoor Kaur, an accomplished fencing player from the school, representing the spirit of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative. The gathering sang the national anthem. Student Sargun delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting Republic Day as a symbol of national unity and a call to uphold collective responsibilities in safeguarding the nation’s ideals. A major highlight of the event was the disciplined and synchronized parade by the NSS student contingent, led by Captain Dikshant Kumar, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the school band at Kalka tehsil. Adding to the patriotic atmosphere, girl students captivated the audience with a powerful dance performance themed on Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. Ved Prakash Dhull, Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Haryana, recognised the outstanding achievements of students. Class XII student Savleen Kaur was awarded for her excellence in sports, while Class X students Susan Zaki and Shaurya Seth were lauded for their exceptional performance in science competitions. Students also received trophies for their exemplary dance and march-past performances. A festive highlight of the event was the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Raffle Lucky Draw. Colonel NR Baberwal, member of the School Management Committee, presided over the event as students eagerly announced winners. The celebrations concluded with an inspiring address by Principal Dr Piyush Punj.
