St Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township, Pinjore
The school hosted an assembly of students from 34 schools in the region during the 25th Srijnoday - Vivekananda Smriti Samaroh, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s 163rd birth anniversary. Sunita from Blue Bird High School, Panchkula, aptly noted, “Srijnoday month comes with different kinds of positive energy.” The primary objective of Srijnoday is to disseminate Swami’s ideology and philosophy, emphasising holistic development —spanning physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual growth — among students. This year, the event drew an impressive participation of 489 students, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. An interactive session, led by Brahmachari Vibhuchaitanya from the Ramkrishan Mission Ashram in Chandigarh, garnered immense appreciation. Throughout the event, a diverse array of activities was organised under the themes of Gyanoday, Aabhasoday, Bhavoday, Kalaoday, and Pranoday, catering to students from LKG to Class XI. The campus was a colourful spectacle, with participants donning attire inspired by Swami Vivekananda, traditional ethnic dresses, school uniforms, and sportswear, reflecting the vibrant spirit of “Viksit Bharat”. Principal Dr Piyush Punj expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants, judges, teachers, parents, and school principals for their invaluable support in making Srijnoday a resounding success.
