Students of Senior Secondary Model School, Patiala, celebrated the Constitution Day and 77th anniversary of the foundation of NCC. Addressing the morning assembly, student Harsimrat Kaur shed light on salient features of the Constitution and its importance in the governance of the country. School in-charge Satvir Singh Gill told the students that the Constitution of India was adopted on November 26, 1949, but came into force on January 26, 1950. Celebrating the 77th foundation anniversary of NCC, school teacher Gagandeep Singh remembered the founder of NCC HN Kunzru and planted a sapling.
