Students participate in 'National Road Safety Mission' run

Dasmesh Public School Chak Allah Bakhsh, Mukerian, have brought glory to the institution and the area by participating in the 'National Road Safety Mission' run organised by the Government of India. About 5,000 schools and two lakh students from across the country participated in this national-level competition. The students achieved high ranks in the Olympiad conducted under this mission. At the national-level, Hargunpreet secured 19th rank, Bhavkirat Singh secured 44th rank, Jasmeet Kaur secured 158th rank, Samaira secured 537th rank and Manmeet Kaur secured 767th rank. Expressing happiness on this grand success, the school Chairman Ravinder Singh Chak and all the trust members, including Satpal Singh, Harpal Singh, Bikramjit Singh, Harmanjit Singh, Surjit Singh Bhattian, Davinder Singh and Harinderjit Singh, congratulated the parents of the winning students. Chairman Ravinder Singh Chak congratulated school Principal Dr Sanjeev Chandel and the coordinator of this programme, Harvinder Kaur, for receiving the appreciation letter at the national level. He said that along with education, such public awareness programmes are very important for society. Such competitions should be held to create awareness about road safety among the students. Participating in such activities along with studies is beneficial for the all-round development of the students. He motivated the students to show their talent on such national-level platforms in the future as well.
